I took this from Idris blog. Im really surprise to see the results. Haha.

Yesterday was really great, i can say.
And so, its the national band competition yaww.
Of course, we were excited and nervous at the
same time. Some sec one's came to watch the
performance. Wow, this year, all the sec one's
really lucky, you know. Not like the sec one last
year, which is my batch. So unlucky. After the
performance, we were relief but we were not
so sure if we can get the gold award yet. So,
miss tan and miss loh came down and told us
to come and see the left over performance by
other school. Yeah, we were really happy that
time. Waited for so long and finally, the results
were announced. Miss loh were shouting like
this, "We got a GOLD!". I was rather shocked
that time. Almost everyone were shouting and
some of them were crying and shed their tears
of joy. Yeah, suhana cried because she really
didnt expect this results. Overall, what miss
tan say is really true. If we aim for a gold, we can
get it. If i think twice, i really dunt want miss tan
to go but i want her to teach us forever although
sometimes, she used harsh words towards us.
All her talks were worth it after all. The gold one
dollar coin is really working well. Haha, i cant
believe it. I really prefer buying new instruments
then going overseas, seriously. I want a NEW
bass drum afterall because, mine has turn old.
But still, i love the old one better. And yeah, i
hope our band can work harder for next year,
SYF competition. If we can remain like this, i
think we can make the school proud of us. And
make the whole school not to look down on us.
YCMB, you can do it. Band members, you know
what im thinking? Haha, i have enough of the
story. I need a rest now. Goodbye people!

Dear band, im proud that you guys can achieved a gold award.
I hope you guys work harder for next year SYF competition and
at least, make the school proud of us. We must prove to them
that band is not noise but wonderful music. Let's prove them wrong.
Lastly, i want to thanks Ms dorean tan for your talks and not to
forget Ms loh and Ms katie tan for your full support. We love you guys.
