Although we felt that our nerves are making us shiver,
we didnt failed to cheer ourselves up by laughing at some jokes.
the cold atmosphere there can even make our hair stands.
seniors were there, again not failing to be our usual supporters.
we were smiling and praying hard in the inside.
despite the fact that we're really nervous, waiting for our turn.
and i can tell you that, i was the only one in my section that's worried.
So, finally we were waiting for our turn to go in at the backstage.
saw the first band performing through the tv screen.
we were really nervous and we really cant stand still there.
time after time waiting, its our turn to go up the stage.
Our overture turned out well. In fact, the seniors said that too.
they were cheering for us. But, our choice piece really pulled us down.
if i'm not wrong, it's the third time we played the "in the winter of 1730".
but none of us can get it in the head that we are good at it.
nevermind, its just not our luck to get what we want.
we shall try harder next time and no, we cant give up so easily.
more life after band, indeed. (that's what miss tan said.)
Here i am, wish to thank all the people involve for supporting us.
miss loh, miss tan SG and also our beloved conductor, miss dorean tan,
for giving us this opportunity to take part in this SYF.
although the results didnt turned out what we've expected,
we shall not bother about it and stop bothering about others.
to me, we are the gold band at heart and also miss tan's eyes.
now, i've been faking a smile. Pretending that everything's alright.
people were asking about how we did for our SYF,
telling them that we got a bronze, what they just say was,
"nevermind, atleast its a bronze. Also good what."
just imagine if you're in my shoes. How do you feel?
how do you feel when you work so hard for it but it turned out suckish?
tell me. I'm just disappointed because we've been making miss loh upset.
not just one time, but alot of time and we have make her lost her confidence.
her confidence towards us, her beloved band members.
how sad.
Lastly, thanks seniors for being so supportive. *loves
dear percussionist, you all have done your best.
dont ever give up, beloved juniors.
we're the best percussionist and no one can change that.
remember this, always look on the bright side of life.
